While the United States was celebrating the men’s national team’s incredible win against Ghana, Jürgen Klinsmann and his staff went back to work. The USA was able to earn three crucial points without the services of its best striker, Jozy Altidore, for the last 70-plus minutes of the match. By Thursday, the worst kept secret in the USMNT camp was revealed — Jozy Altidore’s strained hamstring means he will not play against Portugal on Sunday.
