Julian Green got subbed into the USA’s last game in this World Cup in extra time, and the young stars first World Cup touch…. was a goal. A goal that brought the USA back 2-1 with about 8 mins left to play including stoppage time. Hopefully that is a good sign for the future of US soccer.
This video is the reaction of my buddies and myself watching the game.
Hi, my name is Paul Livengood. I’m a junior at Texas State University and this is my first time owning my own blog. Its for an assignment worth a third of my final grade in my Fundamentals of Digital Online Media class at Texas State. I’m hoping to explore the world of blogging and see where it gets me. I think I might actually like blogging a lot and continue to do it outside of the parameters of this class.
My only problem was thinking of a topic to blog about. I have a passion for sports, I play lacrosse here for Texas State, so I knew I wanted to do something in relation to some sport, sporting event, or sports team. I remembered that the World Cup is right around the corner so that sounded like the perfect thing to blog about. Anyone interested in the upcoming World Cup and/or the US Men’s National team would be interested in this particular blog. The World Cup is the obviously the biggest stage of soccer there is. There’s a reason why they only do it every four years. I will provide YouTube videos, widgets, social media covering the World Cup and so on. I’m looking forward to getting this blog started! 🙂
